My Story

Basically, if you want to summarize who I am in one sentence, it goes like this;

|| I am a tall, awkward, cookie monster, who hates mornings and crying, with magical tickling powers. ||

Nah, honestly?.. Learning who I am would be the same as learning anyone else. Investing in their lives, reading their thoughts.

This blog is a piece of me. I explain more about myself here than I do to people I see on a daily basis. I feel sometimes as if I hide behind the screen of my laptop, knowing there won't be an immediate response to my statements or ramblings, like there would be if I was standing face to face with someone. But I think we all  have a little of that. The ability to talk to an infinite amount of people, most of which you may not even know, and still feel more comfortable than you would if you were anywhere else.

I do know a few things about myself that would fit well on this page.

I'm a sinner redeemed by the blood of Christ, with a passion to live solely for Him. My life was bought and each decision I make, I want to be according to God's will.

I'm completely fascinated by art and all that is considered to fit in that category. I have a hunger to learn about the history of art, the techniques discovered, the materials used, etc...

and I adore animals but I love children more..

and...

.. I have recently learned, or I guess-- witnessed, that we are not in control. No matter how tight our grip, we can not control what happens. Life is short, and it gets really hard sometimes.. But we can rest in the fact of God's sovereignty and the peace that accompanies. Just remember to live.. Really, really live. As courageously as possible. With integrity and poise. Seize each moment. Cling to hope. Dare to take risks. Fly. Because it is very possible.
